DESCRIPTION:Power Ups + is an advanced\, small-size class that will focus on challenging workouts in the gym while neurotypical people are working out on their own. This class is limited to DD athletes who can safely work out independently and who know how to use gym equipment. Coaches will move athletes through a quick-paced challenging circuit of machine and free-weight exercises. As other rooms and coaches are available\, we may engage in activities including yoga\, cycling\, swimming and other activities. Athletes will be required to pass an admission test to participate. Admission is at the coaches’ discretion. Athletes should expect to feel the burn of a good workout after completing a class.

DESCRIPTION:This all-abilities training and friendly competition program provides athletes with developmental disabilities opportunities to work out at the Arena at Wembley\, a state-of-the-art gym and fitness facility. Activities include: pickleball\, weightlifting\, obstacles\, TRX\, swimming\, cycling\, dance\, boxing\, yoga and more. To maintain quality of instruction\, classes are capped at 12 people. The schedule may changed based on staffing and room availability. \nNPower Services is also offering a similar evening program at the Arena at Wembley. Please register for only one as we would like to offer this opportunity to as many people as possible. If extra places are open\, we will revisit adding people to both sessions. The program costs $50 per session; no one is turned away for financial reasons.

DESCRIPTION:Power Ups + is an advanced\, small-size class that will focus on challenging workouts in the gym while neurotypical people are working out on their own. This class is limited to DD athletes who can safely work out independently and who know how to use gym equipment. Coaches will move athletes through a quick-paced challenging circuit of machine and free-weight exercises. As other rooms and coaches are available\, we may engage in activities including yoga\, cycling\, swimming and other activities. Athletes will be required to pass an admission test to participate. Admission is at the coaches’ discretion. Athletes should expect to feel the burn of a good workout after completing a class.

DESCRIPTION:May 15 – Frohring Meadows \nThis free jogging and walking club is for adults of all ability levels. We gather for regular outings. Gatherings are throughout Geauga County and surrounding areas. Participants with extraordinary needs are required to bring a provider to accompany him or her for the entire outing. We meet between 1 – 3 times / month during the spring\, summer and fall. Check the NPower Services events calendar for the schedule. \nBecause of occasional conflicts or weather conditions\, the schedule may change. It is up to participants to check email or social media outlets for updates regarding cancellations or date / venue changes. Participants are responsible for their own safety and transportation. Occasionally\, we may enjoy a post-walk snack. It is up to attendees to avoid anything that could cause an unwanted reaction.

DESCRIPTION:This all-abilities training and friendly competition program provides athletes with developmental disabilities opportunities to work out at the Arena at Wembley\, a state-of-the-art gym and fitness facility. Activities include: pickleball\, weightlifting\, obstacles\, TRX\, swimming\, cycling\, dance\, boxing\, yoga and more. To maintain quality of instruction\, classes are capped at 12 people. The schedule may changed based on staffing and room availability. \nNPower Services is also offering a similar evening program at the Arena at Wembley. Please register for only one as we would like to offer this opportunity to as many people as possible. If extra places are open\, we will revisit adding people to both sessions. The program costs $50 per session; no one is turned away for financial reasons.

Join us in the fun as we jump into the World of Dr. Seuss. JoJo’s imagination runs away from him\, turning his bathtub into McElligot’s Pool! Participants will sing along to the song “It’s Possible” while using costumes and props to play the characters in the scene. Specifically designed for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. \nSarah Lynne has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a focus in Arts Management. She has worked as a theatre artist across Northeast Ohio for nearly 15 years. As a founder of Theatre Agápe\, she created the organization which aims to be an arts organization devoted to removing barriers to entry and making everyone feel like they belong. Because if anything has the power to change the world\, it’s Agápe.

DESCRIPTION:RockAbility Cardio Drumming is a fun and engaging activity that combines drumming with exercise\, offering a creative way for people of all abilities to stay active. A RockAbility musician will lead these sessions\, and will include some songs on this integrated band’s setlist.  Using drumsticks and an exercise ball\, participants drum to music\, which not only provides a cardiovascular workout\, but also improves coordination\, motor skills\, and rhythm. The activity is highly adaptable to different abilities\, making it inclusive and accessible. It promotes social interaction\, boosts self-confidence\, and can help with stress relief – all while participants enjoy the energy and rhythm of the music. RockAbility Cardio Drumming is a creative\, fun\, and effective way to promote physical fitness and well-being.
