Project: Kindness – Inclusive & Adaptive Theatre Experience

May 13, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Adults of all abilities SD: Have fun with musical theatre in this active workshop provided by Theatre Agápe!

Theatre Agápe artists use collaboration and storytelling to recreate an inclusive scene from Seussical the Musical! Join us in the fun as we jump into the World of Dr. Seuss. JoJo’s imagination runs away from him, turning his bathtub into McElligot’s Pool! Participants will sing along to the song “It’s Possible” while using costumes and props to play the characters in the scene. Specifically designed for adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

Sarah Lynne has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a focus in Arts Management. She has worked as a theatre artist across Northeast Ohio for nearly 15 years. As a founder of Theatre Agápe, she created the organization which aims to be an arts organization devoted to removing barriers to entry and making everyone feel like they belong. Because if anything has the power to change the world, it’s Agápe.
