Spread the JOY with Sew4Service, Cleveland Kindness, Geauga Family YMCA and NPower’s Project: Kindness
What happens when local agencies join forces and get creative? They “Spread the JOY!” of course!
We’re collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly to make sandwiches for homeless families in greater Cleveland. The collection bin is at the Y from Aug. 1 – 8. But – on Friday, Aug. 8, we’ll be gathering in the lobby to make fun, colorful fabric wind catchers to keep for ourselves and to share with others. No one will be turned away from making a wind catcher.
We’d like to give a virtual high-five to Sew4Service for putting local sewists’ talents to use as they make projects to help those in need. Plus, a big shout out to Cleveland Kindness for making food and delivering it to homeless shelters in the community. Thank you to Geauga Family YMCA for hosting this event and being a place where people can donate.
