Night of Gratitude 2026

NPower Services to Celebrate Music, Community and Inclusion at Annual “A Night of Gratitude” Fundraiser

November 21 event will feature three inclusive bands, an evening of dining and entertainment, and extraordinary auction experiences — all supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Northeast Ohio.

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — October 2026 — Get ready for a night of music, generosity, and inspiration as NPower Services hosts its annual A Night of Gratitude fundraiser on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the EOUV Club (8636 Pekin Road / Novelty).

The popular event, which has sold out in previous years, brings together hundreds of supporters for an evening of live entertainment, dinner, auctions, and celebration — all to benefit NPower Services’ growing network of programs for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout Northeast Ohio.

This year’s celebration will be especially exciting, with performances by three NPower musical groups: RockAbility, RockAbility West, and FolkAbility.

RockAbility, NPower’s signature integrated rock band, brings together musicians with developmental disabilities and volunteer musicians and mentors to rehearse, record, and perform everything from classic rock to contemporary favorites. The band’s infectious energy and musical talent have made it a favorite at community events throughout the region.

Joining the lineup is RockAbility West, a newly formed band that made its public debut at the Chagrin Falls Documentary Film Festival in October. FolkAbility, NPower’s acoustic ensemble, will also perform, bringing its distinctive blend of folk, rock, and original music to the stage.

Together, the three groups demonstrate what happens when people of different abilities come together through music: barriers disappear, friendships grow, and extraordinary things happen.

More Than a Fundraiser — A Celebration of Possibility

Founded by Lori Weber, NPower Services began as a small grassroots effort in Geauga County and has grown into an organization serving hundreds of individuals and families across Geauga, Cuyahoga, and Lake counties.

Its mission is simple but powerful: helping adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities build meaningful, connected lives in their communities.

Through partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers, NPower offers a wide range of inclusive, affordable, and often free programs that encourage physical fitness, creativity, friendship, independence, and community engagement.

Programs include RockAbility and FolkAbility; Inside Circle all-abilities music sessions; Power Ups and TNT Fitness; Geauga Joggers & Walkers; Project: Kindness; and Next Level Social, which creates social opportunities for independent adults on the autism spectrum.

“People with developmental disabilities deserve the same opportunities as everyone else — to make friends, explore their interests, develop their talents, and feel that they truly belong,” said Weber, founder of NPower Services. “That’s what we’re working to create every day. And A Night of Gratitude is our opportunity to celebrate the incredible people who make it all possible.”

Extraordinary Auctions, Unforgettable Experiences

In addition to the live musical performances, guests will enjoy a family-style dinner, beverages, basket raffles, silent and live auctions, and opportunities to support NPower’s mission.

Among the exciting auction offerings planned for this year are:

  • A Taylor Swift autographed guitar, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity!
  • The Ultimate Celebration, an imaginative party package featuring a life-size cutout of the guest of honor – and “bestie Elvis” – balloon artist, ice cream truck, face painter, and other festive surprises!
  • A Camping (or “glamping”) stay at an Ohio State Park, complete with a cozy camp blanket, deluxe S’mores fixings, two cocktail tumblers, and firepit popcorn popper!
  • Christmas with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Santa will visit you in your home for the holidays with plenty of goodies!
  • Wine, Women and Song! A wine and cheese tasting at Chuck’s Fine Wines with a performance by the Dueling Piano Dames!
  • An assortment of themed gift baskets, artwork, local experiences, restaurant certificates, and other donated treasures.

The evening will also feature a special appeal inviting guests to invest directly in NPower’s programs and the individuals they serve. Proceeds will help sustain and expand NPower’s music, fitness, recreation, social, and community-service opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio.

Community Support Makes It Possible

NPower Services operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Jewish Family Services Association (JFSA) and relies on charitable contributions, grants, sponsorships, and partnerships to keep its programs accessible.

Local businesses and individuals are invited to participate through event sponsorships, auction donations, and attendance.

“We’re incredibly fortunate to have a community that believes in what we’re doing,” Weber said. “Whether someone volunteers at a rehearsal, donates an auction item, sponsors a program, or simply comes out to cheer for our musicians, every contribution helps create opportunities that make people’s lives richer.”
