Differently Abled Athletes Go All-In for a shot at Competing in Las Vegas’ 2025 CrossFit Games

Working out takes commitment, focus, and heart—qualities that athletes with autism and other disabilities bring to every single rep. For many, fitness is more than a routine—it’s a lifeline. It builds strength, yes, but also resilience, confidence, and community. And last weekend, that spirit was on full display at one of the most inclusive athletic events in the country.

From May 2–4, 2025, hundreds of athletes with a range of abilities came together in Fargo, North Dakota to compete in the ABLE Games, the region’s premier all-inclusive functional fitness competition. Hosted at the Cornerstone Bank Arena, the event celebrates athleticism in all forms—welcoming everyone from elite competitors to first-timers with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Representing NPower ServicesKira Weber took the floor alongside her coach and brother, Barrett Weber, competing in the Intellectual Disabilities Adult Division. Their mission? To give it their all, reconnect with fellow athletes, and stay laser-focused on their ultimate goal: qualifying for the 2025 CrossFit Games in Las Vegas this September.

Adding to the excitement, Kira reunited with friends and former competitors Tessa and Lance, whom she battled alongside at the 2024 Games in San Antonio. The trio has become a tight-knit crew—bonded not just by sweat and sport, but by a shared dream. Just one weekend after the ABLE Games, all three are back in their respective CrossFit boxes, grinding through the CrossFit Games qualifiers with one goal in mind: Vegas.

We’re cheering loudly from the sidelines—and we’re not the only ones. The whole NPower Services community is fired up by the grit and determination of these incredible athletes.

In this post, we’re sharing some powerful moments from the ABLE Games and inside Chagrin Falls CrossFit, where Kira and her training partner Ryan are giving every lift, push, and pull their all.

We’re especially grateful to TNT Fitness, the organizers of the ABLE Games, for creating such a welcoming and empowering space for athletes of all abilities to shine. Your leadership and commitment are changing lives.

As we hit publish, adaptive CrossFit athletes across the globe—including Kira, Tessa, Lance, and Ryan—are charging toward their dreams, fighting for a spot at the 2025 CrossFit Games. We’re inspired. We’re proud. And we’re hopeful that our next blog post will come to you live from Las Vegas.

Stay strong. Stay focused. And keep moving forward.
The best is yet to come.
