NPower Services, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting adults with neurological differences, is proud to announce the launch of Next Level Social, a new series of lightly structured social events designed specifically for higher-functioning, neurodiverse adults in Northeast Ohio.
Next Level Social offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where adults who are differently abled can build friendships, explore new interests, and enjoy meaningful activities. Events will vary and may include fun, accessible outings like golf, pottery painting, karaoke, and board games at local breweries.
This group is geared toward neurodiverse adults who meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to use a cell phone
- Actively working, enrolled in college full-time, or actively seeking employment
- Ability to participate in social activities independently
“We wanted to create something that respects the independence and capabilities of neurodiverse adults, while still providing the support and structure needed to feel comfortable and connected,” said Lori Weber, founder of NPower Services.
Next Level Social events will be held periodically at various venues across Northeast Ohio. Each gathering is carefully selected to be both engaging and supportive of participants’ interests and needs. Event details, including dates, times, locations and costs, will be posted on the NPower Services Events Calendar at NPowerServices.com.
The first event is Pizza & Pottery, and will be held Wed., Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Spirit of Clay (828 SOM Center Road / Mayfield Village). Cost is $30 and includes all materials for guests to paint premade pottery pieces. Plus, delicious pizza from Pizzazz! Space is limited. Register early.
